My classes are inspiring, intuitive and educational. Through many years of teaching, I have learned that a yoga practice must be customized to each individual. Therefore, my classes are designed to build skill and understanding, from posture to posture, and from class to class in order to empower you work with intention, become your own teacher and create a practice that nurtures your Spirit, mind and body. I began practicing yoga in 2000. I knew then that I would become a teacher, but I also knew that to be a great teacher I had to be a good student. I completed my first Vinyasa yoga teacher training with Mandy Grant at Juluka Yoga who inspired me to continue to study yoga for the rest of my life. I have also studied with Jimmy Barkan, creator of the Barkan method; John Surie, creator of FireShaper and completed the LifePower Yoga teacher training created by Johnny Kest.
As my yoga practice evolved, I chose to take my advanced yoga teacher training with Raji Thron at Yoga Synthesis where I was able to dive deeper into the many different styles of yoga including Structural yoga therapy, Viniyoga, Ashtanga yoga, Restorative yoga, Yin yoga and pre-natal yoga, in addition to learning multiple meditation, Pranayama and relaxation techniques such as Yoga Nidra. I have also practiced Iyengar Yoga with Sharon Cotugno which has given me a deep understanding of anatomy and proper alignment in yoga poses.

Private Yoga and Reiki Treatments by appointment ONLY
Yoga for Beginners
During this beginner's class you will learn the basic principles of a Yoga practice and establish the foundation for standing poses, forward bends, back bends and twists. You will also get guidance on how to start a Yoga practice at home. Classes are 75 minutes and include meditation and deep relaxation. This class is open to ALL Levels, but the class will be more gentle and focus on the foundational Yoga poses.
All group classes are limited to 12 students. Classes are 90 minutes and include meditation and deep relaxation. My style of Yoga places an emphasis on detail, precision and alignment while encouraging you to find your own inner wisdom. We use props, such as straps, blocks, and blankets to perform the asanas correctly, minimizing the risk of injury, and allowing you to stay in the poses longer. Classes are challenging, invigorating, enlightening and inspiring on all levels. You will learn how to use the practice of Yoga to positively balance your Spirit, mind and body. Whether you are a seasoned Yogi or a beginner, you will leave feeling nurtured, rejuvenated, inspired and centered.
Usui Reiki Level 1 & 2 Certification**
**Fall 2017 class starts Sept 6. During this class you will learn how to practice Reiki. Reiki is a hands-on healing technique that re-introduces harmony to your Spirit, mind and body. Reiki energy relieves stress and promotes a state of total relaxation and peace. This class runs for 10 weeks in Spring and Fall. Pre-registration is required.

Yoga Teacher Training*
Restorative Yoga and Meditation
During this 4 week series you will learn the basic techniques to create a Restorative Yoga and Meditation practice at home. Restorative Yoga uses various props to allow you to stay in poses for a long time, without any discomfort or strain. The practice helps you balance your nervous system, relieve stress, develop patience, humbleness and the ability to focus. You may sign up for all 4 sessions for $160 OR attend a single session for $45* (*Subject to availability. Class is limited to 12 students.)
*** You must bring your own Yoga bolster and two blankets.
